- Step 1: PREPAREProtect your clothing with an old towel. Wearing the gloves provided in your kit, pour the contents of bottle 1 into bottle 2. Shake thoroughly until fully blended.Step 2: APPLYStarting at the roots, apply colour mixture immediately all over dry, unwashed hair. Work the colour through your hair to ensure full saturation. Leave colour on for 20 minutes.Step 3: FINISHWhen time has elapsed, rinse until water runs clear. Follow with the deep conditioner in bottle 3. Leave on for 2 minutes. Rinse. Use remaining Colour Treat Conditioner once a week after shampooing.TIPS AND TRICKS:As it is a semi-permanent hair dye, this means that your hair can go darker, stay the same level or you can add a tone, but you cannot lighten or lift your colour. If you want to go lighter or completely cover greys, choose a permanent hair colour. When using a semi-permanent shade, stick to 1 to 2 shades lighter or darker than your natural colour. Colour on top of colour tends to look darker. If in doubt, always choose 1 shade lighter than your current colour. If it’s too light, you can always go darker next time.
