  • Calm water gel weightless water-gel moisturizer hydrates dry, sensitive skin. Refreshing gel formula transforms into a skin-quenching fluid upon application, forming a weightless barrier against environmental Assault. Dual hyaluronic acid technology works in different skin surface layers to increase and lock in moisture. Apple fruit extract and glycerine hydrate and soften while defending skin against dryness. Cactus pear extract helps soothe sensitivity and imparts water-binding properties to help support healthy moisture balance.

Mixed feelings

After getting my first facial ever, my esthetician concluded my face is sensitized. I bought the mini sample kit for $38.00 and loved the way the ultra calming cleanser and calm water gel made my face feel. I spent $50 dollars on thIs because I'm desperate to get my face in balance but it's going to be really difficult to convince my self to keep spending this kind of money for this amount of product. I mean, it's so small it's laughable. The first ingredient is water, after all.... I will use this brand until my face becomes desensitized but for now I'm definitely doing my research Something less expensive that's just as good. Again, it's not the price that bothers me, it's the Amount of product I'm getting for the price on paying.

Small size and pricey

I switched to this in preparation for microblading (no acids allowed). It is very expensive for such a small bottle. This is a quality brand with a good reputation… but this product isn't even meant to do much (it's not like it's an anti-wrinkle or exfoliating product) so it seems especially overpriced. I just switched to the Paula's Choice gentle cleanser as well, and if that seems good, I might try their moisturizer in the same line next.

Helped to reduce morning redness, balanced skin ton after a month of use daily

I got my first one in March. I have used it daily and it lasted for me from March-August ( half a year ). I useused to have morning redness and I have been buying creams for it, however when I start using Dermatologica Calm wather, I noticed that redness also goes away, so I stoped using creams. So far, it has been good, I have normal type of skin. Like majority of ppl, I get pimples on my face sometimes. Dermatologica calm water would not make it disappear forever, it does help to keep better skin wather balance. Simply saying, your face look more fresh with it then without. I am planning to keep using. I got also Dernatologica cleaning skin wash. Usually my morning starts with using it first after I washed my face and then calm water gel on the clean face.
