Institut Esthederm Intensive Spiruline Cream 50ml

Before starting to use this Institut Esthederm Intensive Spiruline, I was using Rodan & Field cream. I was hoping that I'd like this as much as it's cheaper. Sadly I find it pretty average. I have been using it for 4+ months (only in the am) and although my skin has remained fresh in the dry winter weather I don't think this is worth it's $80+ cost. I did not find the spatula useful and didn't want to clean it and store it after each use so I just use my fingers. The cream is super luxurious so a little goes a long way. I have found that after placing coverup my skin doesn't look oily but If I just use this cream without adding a layer of coverup , then I really have to be careful to use very little cream so I don't look like an oil ball. I'm not sure it's unscented but I don't smell anything when I use the cream.

Rich, nourishing, velvety, absorbs quickly and leave the skin soft and moisturized. Spiruline Cream is one of not so many Institut Esthederm products that I liked to the point to give it five stars and it is definitely worth to try. As I see it, the best use for it is during the cold seasons, like late autumn or winter, but as a night cream, it could be beneficial over summer as well. The cream is too heavy for a hot summer day, and serves the best severely dehydrated skin. I like its scent, that is not invasive and evaporates quickly and which I would describe as a "classic" one. Despite that the cream has enough fragrance ingredients, that may cause sensitivity to some type of sensitive skin. My skin had no irritation, redness or itching.

This Institut Esthederm Intensive Spiruline Cream is a really nice, luxurious facial cream which is best applied at night. It's thick and creamy and comes packaged in a sophisticated glass jar with a silver-tone threaded logo lid. It's meant to restore and rejuvenate tired skin. This cream is not too fragrant and overwhelming. It simply hydrates well and helps to smooth the skin on your face, neck, chest and hands. I have only been using it about 3 weeks (twice a week as it's thicker) and do not yet see any noticeable decrease in anti-fatigue or alertness - but it will take more time and application. Even as a 'typical' moisturizer, which is how I view this Spiruline cream, it's quite good. The only drawback (depending upon your situation) is that it costs about $90. So not the cheapest, but from what I've read about Institut Esthederm, they use top-quality skin care ingredients. It certainly feels that way. Recommended.
